How does it work?
The MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Powermonkey is an officially branded emergency charger, perfect for recharging your favourite gadgets when they run out of battery power, when you are away from home.
Unlike other emergency chargers the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Powermonkey does not require disposable batteries and will hold its charge between use. It has a powerful, built in 2200mAh lithium-ion battery which can be recharged from your mains power supply. This gives it a standby time of up to a year. This is great as you can stick it in your car's glove box, without needing to worry about it running out of power when you come to use it.
You can use the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Powermonkey to extend your mobile phone's battery life by another 96 hours, all iPods by 40 hours, allow two way radios to work for another 24 hours, as well as to power your digital camera so it can take another 1600 photos...as well as any other electronic item which is up to 5.5 volts.
It is very simple to use the Powermonkey. There are only 3 steps to recharge your gadgets.
1) Switch the Powermonkey on
2) Connect it to the item that needs recharging
3) Once the item is recharged, switch the Powermonkey off and disconnect it.
The Powermonkey has an LED which will flash green when it is working and will turn red when it needs to be recharged.
